I may be late to observe this, but the best can always be praised!!

I was scrolling through the Amazon app on my phone, and suddenly I saw this beautiful amazon style Smile with “Family” written across the smile —

I clicked on the banner and saw a way different world offered by Amazon. It has multi-dimensional filters available from the age filter to the needs filter.

Seein above, it is very clear that Personalization is becoming not just a competitive advantage, but something that customers expect through every interaction. 31% of customers say that they want their shopping experience to be more personalized than it currently is, and approx 22% of consumers are satisfied with the level of personalization they currently are getting. Deloitte report also found that 36% of customers are interested in buying personalized products, and 48% said they would be willing to wait longer to receive them.

This implies, that if we are trying to reach out to our audience with generic, impersonal content, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to engage them and encourage them to stay with us in the long run. Talking to them directly, with a laser focus on what they like and are naturally interested in, is your best bet to win them over.

“The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well that the product fits the costumer perfect and sell itself”

— Peter Drucker
